EVERYBODY, I'M BACK FROM KOREA!
I just came back last night on SQ 15. And apart from my family, Razi and Amanda was there too! I looked like crap man, cos I slept on the plane. I wished I went to freshened up first! The 2 of them are really very sweet luh, 1 am still come airport to fetch me. They came at 9 pm also! Read from Amanda's blog that Razi felt bad for not sending me off, thats why he wanted to fetch me^^ THEY'RE THE BEST <3
So how do I feel about the Korea trip? Well.. I felt that it definately was not as 'complete' as the Japan trip, without the group bonding and meetings and all. But I should not compare lah, Korea was quite fun also. Especially the theme park and the sightseeing.
And I'm also very happy to be able to overcome a barrier, which was to 'open' up to my group members. Although in the beginning I really felt uncomfortable and alone around my members whom I've never met before, I managed to break the ice I guess. By being extra friendly and smile all the time.
There were times it got really difficult, and I'm glad I could talk to Sharifah about it. When the going gets tough, I just remember what Carel told me, what the sweet hirouka card said, and just continued. When I heard others bitching about me for no apparent reason, I just told myself to choose, either ignore and enjoy the trip, or get all bothered and upset and feel sad the whole time. I also remembered what Razi told me, the phrase I said at the airport, to improve myself from other people's critism etc. With all these in mind, I survived the trip:)
Now that I'm back, there's alot of stuff to do. Dance practices, Hirouka chalet planning, SKITH's projects.. *dies*
I took alot of pictures, but right now, I'm too busy to upload them. I promise to do it soon alright!
